Low points: anything after The Wall

Note: I’m completely saturated by Dark Side and the Wall, but the former has stood up over time; the latter not as well.

Favourite period: the big four albums (BB, LiB, SF, EoMS), plus a special affinity for their psychedelic songs

2: The Who

(May 2013) Completed chapter 2 of my “Opus Project,” where I listen to a band’s entire discography from beginning to end. This chapter: The Who. Best album: no clear winner, maybe The Who Sell Out; many of their best songs were singles. My favorite is the early mod period.

(Feb 2013) Just finished listening to the Led Zeppelin oevre in series. While many songs have reached their saturation point with me, I tried to listen as if I were hearing them for the first time in the 1970s. Still freakin’ awesome.
